Cincinnati’s German Day Week 2016

This year marks the 121st celebration of German Day sponsored by the German-American Citizens League (GACL). In honor of this historic occasion German Day Week has been proclaimed in the Tri-State (Hamilton County, and the Cities of Cincinnati, Covington, and Newport) for the week of May 30-June 5, 2016). Events include:
German Day Week Kickoff Keg Tapping at the Hofbräuhaus Newport on Wednesday, May 25, at 7 PM
German Day Week Keg Tapping at Taft’s Ale house, on Thursday, June 2, at 6 PM, with Kara Sewell of FOX19 as Honorary Keg Tapper
German Day Kickoff at Findlay Market, Saturday, June 4, at 11:00 AM
German Day Celebration on Sunday, June 5, from 11 AM to 11 PM at the Hofbräuhaus Newport. Raffle prizes will be presented throughout the day with the grand raffle at 5:30 P.M. This year’s German Day Grand Prize consists of a dinner party for 30 at the Hofbräuhaus (excluding beverages), and a First Prize of a $750 gift certificate from Furniture Fair.
